Oceania 2016
In September 2016 Sensei Tony joined the Karate Fiji team in his role as mentor coach. The biannual championships was held in Noumea, New Caledonia. A great tournament from a small, but elite, team. GOLD in the men’s -75kg kumite, and silver in the cadet girls kata big highlights.

WKF Recognition for Sensei Tony Hails

World U21, Junior and Cadet Championships
Ishinryu will be widely represented at the World Championships being held in Jakarta, Indonesia, in November. Sensei Tony Hails will be coaching Fiji. Sensei Tony Hails: lifetime WKF accredited coach
We’re very proud to announce that our Sensei Tony Hails 7th Dan, current mentor coach to Fiji and former Australian national coach, has been recognised with lifetime accreditation as a World Karate Federation kata and kumite coach. This is an outstanding achievement and recognises his 30+ years coaching or competing at a high international standard.
