At the 2015 Cadet, Junior and U21 World Championships Sensei Tony Hails 7th Dan, Founder and Chief Instructor of Ishinryu in Australia, was given lifetime recognition as a WKF accredited kumite coach.
His certificate finally arrived, as applied for by Karate Fiji (of which Sensei Tony has been the mentor coach for 8 years).
In a surprise formal presentation, his certificate was awarded to him on our annual Summer Course by great friend and mentor Sensei Wayne Otto OBE whilst secretary of Karate Fiji, Angela Birch, read a speech from Karate Fiji President Makarita Lenoa.
At the conclusion Sensei Tony was serenaded by Karate Fiji athletes. Brilliant.
