On 28 February 2025, four of our senior instructors graded to 4th Dan in Ishinryu Karate. Congratulations to Sensei Gary Crookshank, Sensei Gino Ferraro, Sensei Michael Radermacher and Sensei Neil Walker.
This is a major milestone. Each of these men has trained for decades and contributed significantly to our dojo and the Ishinryu style.
Their preparation included six months of focused training. They attended weekly sessions with Sensei Alison Peachey 7th Dan. They refined their technique, developed their teaching, and undertook research into kata bunkai.
The grading was conducted by Head of Style Sensei Tony Hails 8th Dan. It recognised the high standard, leadership and commitment shown by all four.
We are proud of their achievement. Their experience and mentorship continue to inspire everyone who trains with us.
